Blogging in Public- Christians know...

So, I was sitting on the second floor of the JC writing up my rant on Apple products...While using my Apple products - phone and pad - when this lady approached me and asked, "do you know Jesus?" I was a little taken back at first, because as I said for every post I make I am going to write one post relating to the Bible.

So it was right when I got the end of the draft that she approached and I was thinking about what to write on, and she started telling me there is a new Christian group starting up on George Mason's campus. So, that is the news. I decided I would write about that.

Apple Is Outdated

One of my biggest pet peeves is Apple computer products- don't get me wrong I am writing this post on an IPad while checking my text messages on my IPhone. The products however are not as compelling as the media has made them out to be. An IPhone for example was the best phone on the market for a few years and faced very little competition and the same goes for their tablet devices. Apple was the best product money could buy.

The romance however is slowly fading. I was in. Microsoft store about a week ago and was offered $1000 if I could beat their windows phones in a series of competitions. Needless to say I failed miserably. Microsoft, which has been beaten down by Apple for the last 6 years, finally has made a product that can outcompete Apple.

The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenty; but the thoughts of everyone who is hasty only to poverty.

I love that verse. This blog will require me to be diligent. Many websites I have read have said that blogging is a slow process that involves a little luck and a patience. So, I will be patient and diligent in getting this blog running and generating a revenue. I am going to give myself 6 months before I make my first dime because most websites don't rank well in Google until their 6th month. That is because Google is checking your diligence on sticking to your blog before giving you a higher ranking.

This verse however applies to everything in life. If you want to be successful then you will need to pursue your goals with all your drive and don't give up. G-d wants to give you the desires of your heart, but only if it is for the glory of His Kingdom. He won't bless you with billions of dollars if it will cost you your salvation, but the L-rd honors hard work so long as it does not go against the law. You may have struggles along the way, but so did Job so hang in there and you will get through the rough times and you will be blessed for it.

Monetizing my First Blog

Hey everyone, I have decided to try and monetize the internet in the form of a business. I am starting on this blog using a resource at how to make blogs to help me make money using the blog, and I have a couple of -what I think are- brilliant ideas on how to make money using the internet.

I hope that you will find this quest to be interesting. I will be composing one blog post per week in regards to profit-loss and the rest will be about my niche, as that is what the resource I am using has said to do. That update will include every move I made when it comes to the internet and expenses, such as products I have bought and how much I have earned. Once I hit $100 I will be moving onto a new blog to make even more money... Now I am not going to get cocky, I have been very blessed to have had the success in business that I already have had and I don't take it for granted so L-rd willing I will have continued success in this venture.

I would ask that each reader please RSS this blog and follow along. This will be the second website I am working on, the first being Investor Savant- this website however will be the first website I have attempted to make a profit in, so at least for me this will be one topsy-turvy adventure. Also, I would like to see a lot of social interaction so feel free to ask questions in the comments I would love to respond.
